Playlouder - Music is the Network

Jamie Janakov claims to be the editor of an online music magazine but in reality contributes (unpaid, naturally) to a musical community based around the messageboard of a defunct Hampshire-based electro goth group, for whom Jamie used to hand out flyers. Said messageboard consists of 5 people. 4 are in the London area. One is in Weston-Super-Mare.

Jamie's regular income comes from three days a-week in a warehouse in Dalston in a position originally advertised as 'MySpace Friend Inviter', but which has subsequently helped him branch out into all sorts of new marketing-based avenues; Bebo, for example.

His two days off are spent on his freelance writing career, which currently involves his film script, 'Dead' - a biopic of the life of Norwegian Black Metal band Mayhem's first singer and his timely suicide. Jamie has a draft of the first 10 pages.

Jamie Janakov is not on 'Bebo' or 'MySpace' or even 'Facebook', because Jamie is testing the theory (his own) that if one has no social networking presence one ceases to exist as a real person in the 21st century.

Jamie is, however, on Playlouder, whether you like it or not.

Jamie Janakov is a friend of Paul and Adam.
